How to Change the Background Toolbar of Explorer on Windows XP

This is very fun if you can change your background toolbar of explorer on windows. You can see my mine like this :

Is that cool, isn’t? how come?

Not very difficult, you only need to modify your registry on your windows. Let me show you the step.

First you must open the registry editor by typing “regedit” at run program on start up windows ( showing with the picture )

Then, you must go to the directory toolbar of internet explorer. The path is :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Internet Explorer>Toolbar

After you find toolbar directory then do this order :

Select menu Edit>New>String Value and give it name BackBitmap.

Double click BackBitmap and fill the Value Data with the path of your picture.

Note: you must formatting your picture with extension bitmap (.bmp).

example :

C:\DocumentsandSettings\AllUsers\Documents\MyPictures\Wallpaper\Anime\CapcomvsSNK-1024×768.bmp

Click OK

Enjoy your new interface of explorer!
